The lychee fruit is a small fruit, about 1 1/2 to 2 inches in size with a bumpy outer skin (red). The tart yet sweet taste is similar to grapes or pears, but slightly sweeter. This white balsamic is perfect in your summer refreshing cocktail, such as a gimlet – or for a mocktail try adding to some ginger beer or lemonade or toss with fresh apples and grapefruit for a light salad.
